Our Multi-Tier JDBC to ODBC Bridge is a Type 3 JDBC Driver that enables connectivity from JDBC applications to remote ODBC data sources.
The Bridge consists of the Generic JDBC Driver (thin client) on the client machine and the Request Broker and ODBC Database Agent on the server (or proxy) machine utilizing its own database independent network layer for communication between the client and server.
The Bridge is bound to the ODBC Driver manager, on the server side, enabling connectivity to any ODBC DSN that is present on the server.
This driver is available for Windows, Linux, Unix (most flavours) and Mac OS X Operating systems.
